1  Airport Regulations
  1. Pilots are to obtain a brief before departure inclusive of Noise abatement procedures currently in force.

  2. All aircraft using this aerodrome and its facilities are required to have third party liability insurance cover in the sum of at least £1,000,000.

  3. Non-three axis microlights (i.e. flex-wings) not permitted.

  4. Autogyros not permitted.

  5. Hot air balloons not permitted.

  6. Public platform cost share flights not permitted.

4  Warnings
  1. At the entry to the parking area, the distance between taxiway centre-line and parked aircraft is only 8 M. Visiting pilots should obtain a briefing on taxiway procedures and taxi with extreme caution.

  2. Power lines cross Runway 06 approach. Pilots should not land before the displaced threshold.

  3. Taxiway strip is not provided along the taxiway or in the apron area. Pilots should follow the yellow taxiway centre-lines where provided. Pilots should obtain a briefing on taxiway procedures and taxi with extreme caution.

  4. The runway designators for both Runways 06 and 24 are not positioned in the centre of each runway. They are positioned in the centre of the grass section of each runway.

  5. Pilots may experience windshear on either runway.

  6. Caution required when taxiing in the vicinity of manoeuvring helicopters due to down-wash.

  7. Helicopter circuit and approach pattern different to fixed wing circuit and approach pattern.

  8. Warbird operations take place on a daily basis.

  9. Student pilot training takes place on a daily basis.
